Jurada y Jurídica was founded by Ana Belén Barrio Fernández, a Sworn Translator of Spanish appointed by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Ana Belén is also a Chartered Linguist of the Chartered Institute of Linguists and holds an MA in Translation from the University of Salford, both in the United Kingdom.

Our team has over twenty years of experience in legal and financial translation, having worked for a wide range of companies, international organisations, notary offices and law firms.

Ana Belén Barrio Fernández is a member of the Spanish Professional Association of Court and Sworn Translators and Interpreters (APTIJ) and the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL), and has subscribed to the following codes of professional conduct:
