Sworn translations are official translations accepted by public institutions for a wide range of administrative procedures. It is a special type of translation which has legal validity.

Jurada y jurídica is the company of Ana Belén Barrio, a Sworn Translator appointed by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, and a Chartered Linguist under a title awarded by the Chartered Institute of Linguists in the UK.

Over the last twenty years I have worked as a translator and have gained extensive experience in legal and financial translation, providing translations for a large number of companies, international organisations and law firms. Currently, I focus on official sworn translations.

As a member of the Professional Association of Legal and Sworn Translators and Interpreters in Spain and the Chartered Institute of Linguists in the United Kingdom, Ana Belén Barrio Fernández adheres to the following professional codes of conduct:
